The village of Biskarret is located to the North of Navarre and is part of the Erro Valley

Biskarret appears historically linked to the Camino de Santiago, which was a forced stop point for pilgrims, especially until the appearance of the hospice of Roncesvalles. There was also a hospital for pilgrims, of which remains are still preserved. In its architecture stands out the parish church of San Pedro, belonging to the beginning of the 13th century Gothic style. Camino de Santiago

The camino de Santiago offers beautiful and unforgettable landscapes, treasures discovered on each tread or pedaling. La Posada Nueva is located in the middle of the stage from Roncesvalles to Zubiri (12 Km), final stage from Orisson (29 Km). Many pilgrims also come from San Juan de Pie de Port (35 Km) or from Luzaide-Valcarlos (27 Km).
